Setting: Throne Room of the King of Romaly castle
The King's Royal Assistant: The King has decreed that any bodies willing and able to enter service should search for the thief Kansler, who has made off with His Majesty's royal crown. Who among you will venture?
Orion, Warrior of Romaly: I will venture for his Majesty.
King, His Majesty of Romaly: Yes. Who else among you will undertake this task?

A fierce knight steps forward, then bows before the king.
"Mylord, it will be an honor to fight for you amongst these other strong companions" sais Pure, Knight of the Earl Beauvais. "But I am sure that there are many other good men that will join is in this quest."

King, His Majesty of Romaly: "Very well then, the four of you here will make an excellent host for the quest. I wish you luck, and should you be successful, you shall find the royal house of Romaly's gratitude and gold to be quite compensating."
*Note*Each person should solve the problem the last person created and then create a new problem. I'll start us out. Also, problems (events) don't have to be phrased like questions, mine just happened to be.
Narration: So they set out, a Warrior, a Knight, a Thief, and a Blacksmith, for Kansler's tower in the west.
After leaving town... Orion, Warrior of Romaly: "Well, this way is west... looks like there's a forest in our way. Should we go through or find a longer way around?"

Narration: Suddenly, as if in answer, a slow gale of wind blew around the company of four, filling each with an odd feeling of mystery. The wind circled around them, and is it did each felt a passing moment of clarity, almost protection, and these words were heard: "If your quest lies in intent true and pure, go to the source, go through..."
The company stood there in brief contemplation and disbelief, somehow knowing what they each felt, the others did as well, for it could be felt in the silence of the few passing moments that followed...
<hope you don't mind me joining in- not sure if it was legal but what the heck..bear with me>

The four started off through the woods...... after a while they notice that what was once a buetifull forest sceene became a dark and drery place to be... the trees kept out the light and made it hard to see the path... pretty soon they had lost the path all together and could not figure out what way to go next.....

Pure told the group to stick together, but it was already too late: One Person was missing... Since they could barely even see their faces they had to call out their names. The only names to hear were: "Pure!", "Kp!" and "Orion!" Now they knew whom to look for but not yet where, which started a wide discussion amongst the adventurers.

Claw walking alone not knowing were to go or what to do in the heart of the pitch black forest..... *weapon at ready* "whoa hey! Friend or foe? I've been lost in this forest for days, and I weary of its spectres and enchantments-- State your intent, stranger, or feel my blade!"

Then well met, Friend!
As they say, two heads are better than one, so if ye don't mind, I'll tag along and maybe we can find these lost men of yours-- hopefully with their heads still attatched! I saw the warm glow of a campfire last night, but dared not advance. Last time I did that, I was set upon by a group of nasty, stinking trolls and didn't stop running for 8 hours. That was westwards, methinks, so we could try that way if you like.

<Naration>
Suddenly, a strange glow penetrated the fog which surround the two. At first appearing in the distance towards the north, the light seemed to grasp Claw and once again he felt the strange presence he felt with his fellow travelers upon entering the strange wood. The light grew and intensified, and as it did so, the same strange wind as before grew around the two of them filling them both with an odd sense of wonder. The branches of the old, twisted, knotted trees began to reflect and sway about as if in some stormy dawn. And soon the light was upon them, and as quick as the entire episode had begun, everything faded once again into darkness. Except there stood facing them in the north was an ancient, tired looking, frail-bodied old man.
The two instinctively drew their weapons once the light dissipitated and they realized there was somebody standing within a short distance. The old man held himself up with a walking stick hewn from the root up of a young birch tree. They looked into the man's eyes and saw no hesitation.
"My name is Gilgamore. I am known in these parts by the fairie folk and others that dwell here as the traveler of light. I mean no harm, instead I wish to inform you why I've chosen to meet with you...will you hear my words in peace or must we meet in conflict?" his voice trailed off as his eyes moved for the first time towards their drawn weapons.
